The gap between physiotherapy discharge and full return to training is where most injuries come back.

A physio's job is to get you out of pain and restore basic function. A personal trainer's job is to get you back to performance. The problem is that most personal trainers are not qualified to manage the clinical detail that sits between those two points, and most physios do not follow clients through to full loading.

At A Fitness, every programme starts with an assessment that includes your full injury history. If you have been discharged from physio and are not back to your previous training level, that is the work we take on.

Concretely, this means: understanding what the injury was, what the physio addressed, what has not resolved yet, and what a return-to-training trajectory looks like. We then build a programme that progressively loads the affected structures while managing surrounding tissue with hands-on work where needed.

This is not physiotherapy. We are not replacing it. But we are qualified to manage the clinical complexity that most personal trainers are not equipped to handle.
