FAQs
What is the difference between soft tissue therapy and a regular sports massage?
Soft tissue therapy includes assessment treatment and specific rehab exercises in one process. Instead of only working on tight muscles we identify why those tissues are overloaded in the first place and give you a plan to change it. Sports massage techniques are used inside this structured approach rather than as a stand alone fix.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move such as shorts, leggings and a t-shirt or vest. If we are assessing your squat running or gym technique please bring your usual training kit.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people feel a noticeable change after their Blueprint Assessment. For longer term issues or performance goals we often recommend a short block of three to six sessions then review. Your therapist will always explain what they recommend and why.
Can I train on the same day as my session?
Before- Yes. Especially for light to moderate training. After your session you will get clear guidance on what is appropriate that day and how to adjust your training over the next forty eight hours.
